I have really been getting into relaxation baths recently. I have also amped it up since we’ve been in quarantine as this is a great way to have a relaxing night at home. If you’re looking for some tried and true DIY spa night products, you are in the right place!
I don’t recommend doing this often especially if you have very dry skin but if with some great products you can really make this a routine beneficial for your skin. Baths are a great way to unwind when you’ve had a stressful day working at home. I have tried some products that I’ve found work well, here are a few of my favourite things:
1. The Body Shop Rose Bath Foam
If you love bubbles and love rose, this body shop rose bath foam is great. It smells nice (not too strong) and make a LOT of bubbles with a small amount of product. I like to combine this with a regular bath bomb.
2. Lush Lavender Bath Bomb
Most recently, I finished a pack of bath bombs I got from Winners. They weren’t anything special but they did the job. A nice one that I’ve tried is this lavender lush one.
A great face roller paired with Egyptian Magic is a great and luxurious companion to a warm bath. Its relaxing and a great way to create blood circulation in your face.
I will also put on a show that I like and make a nice relaxing camomile tea. Another thing I found really helpful is this bath tray which you can put your iPad and tea on of course.
If you’re looking for some quick drugstore bath products, I recently picked up the lavender bath salt and bubble bath from Dr. Teals. which I also really enjoyed.
7. Face Masks
In terms of face masks, I used to have terrible acne and sensitive skin, now I continue to have breakouts and I do feel that certain masks I’ve continued to purchased because they really just work. I will link my absolute favourites. During the holidays, I purchased a Fresh mask sampler set (there are 5 masks) and they are absolutely amazing.
